THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a great looking Deco style shouldered with rounded top tombstone. Production for this series began by RCA in 1934. The set is a six tube design (80, 2x6D6, 6A7, 6B7 and 41). The set plays with strong volume and has great reception due to its innovative "Magic Brain" circuit. It was designed for the serious radio buyer of the 1930's with over-sized can/coils usually found in console models of that time. It features three band selection: Broadcast and two Short Wave. The radio was electrically reconditioned with all electrolytic caps replaced along with bad resistors and wiring. The speaker has been professionally reconed. The cabinet was also professionally refinished with multi coats of lacquer with sanding in between coats. This radio will be the centerpiece of any collection or room/office. 28 pounds; 20-1/2"H x 17"W x 13"D.
