THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Offered is a most unusual radio and perhaps the last real collectible transistor set to be made. Keith Haring was part of the New York street culture; he passed away in 1990 and his artwork is in great demand today. Keith operated the Pop Shop in the 80's and had his own radio commissioned and made in Hong Kong in 1985, sold only in his shop. This is the red version (also was a blue) and is mint in box, still sealed in plastic, featuring one of his iconic figures. The radio has a telescopic antenna with embossed lettering on the side that includes his signature. The box is also as new and gives you a great idea of his artwork - these radios are very scarce and look like no other. |
