| Excellent example of modern, space age and Kartell design, this is a solid red plastic radio with separate stand that has good volume and receives many stations with a 9V battery. The wonderfully playful dial face and Lucite pointer are in excellent condition, shiny serrated knobs and stand are undamaged, battery compartment clean, a few scuffs on the plastic dial face and no cracks or chips in the two-piece cube case; made in several colors, the red is quite desirable and often found in fair or poor condition and without the stand. I have lightly cleaned the case, but it still needs some elbow grease and Simple Green (or similar). There is an earphone jack on the lower left back. Measures 5-1/2"H with stand. |
