Panasonic R-12 Transistor
(plastic tube table radio)

Panasonic R-12 Transistor

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This futuristic so-called "Tachometer" AM radio looks to be near-mint if not mint in box. The chrome base folds outward, making for one sharp display. All the original packaging is there: inserts, printed matter and circular Styrofoam cover for the dial cover. It takes a 9 volt battery (not included) and plays very well with good volume across the dial, no static when tuning or adjusting volume. The box has a little light wear but is solid with no rips/holes. It comes with the original Panasonic battery, not working but in as-new condition. Made in Japan by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co.
