Star Explorer (1977)
(plastic replica radio)

Star Explorer (1977)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Novelty flying saucer from Star Command line by Calfax Inc. (Hong Kong). This fully functioning AM radio is in excellent cosmetic condition. The decals (including the deck crew view) and chrome-like plastic landing feet are complete and undamaged. There are three switches along the side for on/volume, tuning and turning the bubble light on. The radio works surprisingly well with good selectivity and volume. The bubble's light uses a fader switch and is not weak but doesn't show up well in the picture. These are hard to find without some kind of damage. S/I included. About 7-1/2" in diameter and about 2-1/2"H including the light.
