THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A very desirable example of early Art Deco Bakelite radios and identical to the Lafayette BB22 radio shown in Stein's book, vol. 1, pg. 132. It has been completely serviced, plays very well with good volume and a rich, full resonance. The radio is all original and retains the oft missing cardboard back which was fragile so I have stiffened it up a bit with some clear Krylon spray. There is a little wear on the dial due to the pointer. The case has no cracks, chips or hairlines and was repainted before I acquired it; judging by the original dials, it was a cream color before too, with just a few tiny flea bites to the paint on the top back edge. The label on the bottom is fully intact; please mail for picture. Domestic S&H is $21.00. |
