THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
You gotta wonder what inspired this design, coming right after the end of World War II. It probably didn't take long before the nickname "The Frog Eye" came about. The slide rule dial and dial plastic are in perfect condition, which is hard to find. The original thumb wheel knobs are also flawless. The off-white Plaskon slip-over case is crack free. There is one small "bleached" spot by the left knob. The very clean five-tube chassis has been professionally restored; all caps were replaced as well as some open resistors. The on/off switch has been rebuilt. Alignments have been performed. A nice clean, very strong playing radio. Add $18.00 for domestic S&H. |
