THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Crosley made many mid-century styled radios. This is the Serenader in a blue-gray color. Beautiful original paint with just a few tiny chips (mostly along the three-sided protruding fin) and some scuffing underneath. No cracks/chips/hairlines in the Bakelite case, original dials are perfect with no wear on the gold colored AM band numbers. The back is complete and there's a complete label on the bottom. It plays strong with good selectivity and smooth tuning with a very slight hum - please keep in mind these radios will pick up most any electrical interference in your house, even fluorescent bulbs. Add $17.50 for postage/insurance in lower 48 states. Guidebooks list this at $275. |
