THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Art Deco small table set from a New York manufacture mostly known for producing Airline and Western Auto radios (they also made the Pac-Man monitors in the late 1970s). Very cool lines with wrap-around louvres and two-step top design. Rich dark chocolate Bakelite case is shiny and reflective with superb marbled swirl when displayed in good lighting (see pictures). Cord has been cut, but chassis is complete with a rather large speaker for its size. Case has a few light scratches, no cracks whatsoever. All original, dial face excellent ("superheterodyne" is the word at the bottom), plastic cover has scratches but no cracks, knobs are excellent, pointer turns fine. 9"W x 7"H. |
