| A great example of mid-century modern style and form. This Westinghouse AM tube radio works well, complete with civil defense markings. This is a two-tone plastic case, not painted, having a shiny and reflective tan shell (more tan than picture shows) nicely contrasted with a rich maroon concave grille. The radio has a good sound, good selectivity, and as the pictures show, is in all-around excellent condition and all original. There is only a tiny stress mark on the top front edge, a little to left of center, less than an inch long, hard to see and only shows up on picture of the back. The cardboard back is still present. Ready to display, plug in and play. |
