Emerson radios sold!

Emerson 561
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Emerson 561

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A late 40s set attributed to Raymond Loewy, known as the father of industrial design. He was behind so much of the machine age period, from Greyhound buses, refrigerators, the Shell & Lucky Strike logos and even the Studebaker Coupe! This Emerson has a shiny case, knobs and tuning dial that move smoothly, has a few slight wear marks/scratches and a case with no chips or cracks, just a tiny 1/4" hairline above the left knob, to the left of the dial. The plug was cut off, but it has a complete and clean chassis.
