THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This Philco Transistone has a shiny black Bakelite case with a slightly rounded step-top design and is not missing any of the original knobs, as is often the case. The clock works fine, the clear plastic cover and clock face are in excellent condition. The AM dial face has the Special Services band with icons showing a plane, boat and telephone. It and the tuning knob are also in excellent shape, but the radio does not work. The cord's in great shape, so is the cardboard back. The case has no cracks and just a sliver missing from the lower right front corner (see closeup of dial face). I'm listing a bunch of radios in great shape - wife says I have to give back some space I've slowly taken up over the years; this one like most of them have complete and clean chassis and are waiting for your electronic wizardry. |
