This is a beautiful top of the line Tannhauser and one of the last all tube radios produced by NordMende. It has eight tubes, four speakers and four bands. Bands are AM 550-1600, FM 88-108, SW1-41-120m and SW2-13-40m. Tubes includes two premium Lorenz ECll 800 output tubes and a bright green indicator. The speakers are two huge 10"x7" woofers and two side mounted 4" mid/tweeters. There are inputs for Phono, Tape or any other high level devise such as CD. Tone controls are Alto, Speech, Treble, Stereo, Presence, Bass and Brilliant to adjust the sound to your taste. Cabinet is in near mint condition with just one small ding on top. Speaker cloth is excellent. The back cover has clear writing. Sound is fantastic on all bands with excellent Bass. A hard to find Tannhauser Caruso Spezial in near mint condition.
