This is the US export version of the Freudenstadt 11 in excellent condition. It features nine tubes, four original SABA Green Cone speakers and four wave bands. There are variable tone controls for Bass and Treble. In addition there are controls for Voice, Music and Stereo each with its own illuminated window on the dial plus a internal AM rotating antenna. The four bands are AM 510-1640, 88-108, SW 16-49m and "Marine" band 4.3-1.6 mc. The Treble control also functions as large and small bandwidth selectivity for the AM, SW and Marine bands. Stereo is produced with its Phono, Tape, CD inputs. The cabinet is in beautiful condition with its original blond wood finish. The original grille cloth and back cover are both excellent. The glass dial is great in a gray color with perfect writing. Included is the original owners manual, a copy of the schematic and a DIN to RCA cable for Phono, Tape or CD hookup. SABA was known for producing high end, top of the line radios. They were considered the "Cadillac" of all German radios. 45 pounds packed. Large at 25"W x 15"H x 11"D. |
