This is a very collectible little Bakelite radio produced by AWB (Apparate-Werk Bayern). AWB was in business a very short time in the mid 50's. It has AM 510-1600, FM 87-101 and a Phono/CD/Tape input. The power switch is on the back. The Bakelite cabinet is near mint. Radio has been completely re-capped and plays strong with built in antennas. An unusual feature is the AFN (American Forces Network) designation on its round dial. Just right for kitchen or bedroom at 14-1/2"W x 7-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D.
