This Allegro from the early 60s has FM all the way from 88-108 that plays excellent. It has two SW bands, SW-1 49-125m, SW-2 13-41m and pulls in great with internal antenna. The AM band does not work. It has three speakers, a 10" x 7" woofer with alnico magnet for great bass and two 4" mid/tweeters. The sound is fantastic. The cabinet is in good original condition with the typical long varnish cracks, but solid. Tone controls are Bass, Treble wheels, Bass, Solo, Soft and Jazz which all function. The SW bands incorporate the FM dial for broadband fine tuning. The knobs, pushbuttons, glass and back are all very good. All tubes have been checked and replaced as needed. If you can live without AM and want excellent FM sound and a superb SW, this is an excellent buy. 23"W x 14"H x 9"D. US SHIPPING ONLY.
