WW II radio direction finder used in Scout Bombers such as the SBC-3 and SBC-4s. Here is a very cool radio direction finder used in various aircraft in WW II. These gadgets work great. They run on 6 or 12 volts for filament (6SK7/12SK7 pair) and 200 volts DC for the plates. The unit covers 200 KC-1.6 MC in three bands. Output is RF and is fed to any AM radio receiver. It was normally connected to the Model RU Series Radio Receiver. This one says CDT 5006 #477, made by Detrola, March 1942. Overall condition very good and working, comes with hot pair of JAN 6SK7's.
