THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is the famous "Gibson Girl" emergency transmitter S/N 4035. These were used by downed pilots during the war. This one is in good overall condition and comes with a most interesting Cadz Hydrogen canister, still sealed and with a repro copy of instructions. This canister has a balloon inside; it was activated by immersing the contained carbide chunks in water and filling the balloon. This was attached to the antenna to raise it in the air. Overall condition is good. The crank bearing is kind of stuck, but the price is very reasonable for one of these. Asking |
