| Here is an unusual and quite rare Brush "sound cell" crystal mic. Brush Development was one of the first companies to develop piezoelectric crystal elements using naturally occurring rochelle salts. Here is a pristine example of one of their earliest "hi-end" mics from the 30s/40s. I have seen this mic in front of FDR in early news reels and docs. This one is in super fine original condition with original crystal still inside. |
