| Here is a super clean pair of depression era AK radio gear. The radio is a totally original model 40 with a set of ST tubes from Pep Boys auto stores dated March 1940! This radio is one of the cleanest AK breadboxes I've seen. It's totally unspoiled. Even the AC cable is in super fine original condition with only one fray in the outer cloth where it passed out of the metal cabinet. Likewise condition on the E speaker. Cable is fine, cone is fine and it too is working as original. I simply brought the radio up on variac and away it went! It plays loud and clear and will DX 1000 miles in the daytime!
