THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Browni early transistor "pocket radio." Here is a neat early transistor for your radio collection. It's not one of the legends like a Regency, Hoffman or Zenith, but is still very historic. Once the transistor craze got going, the Japanese and Americans got the Chinese to manufacture cheap radios by the thousands. This is a perfect example that was seen in all the trinket stores along 42nd Street in New York and many other cities. Called a Browni 7, it's actually a five transistor radio with two diodes. Condition is very good. It's still working, in original box with earphone, vinyl case, all in great shape. The box has a price sticker stating $3.22! We will adjust for inflation and ask |
