Transitone TH1 Simplex/Philco (1937)

This was the first Transitone made for home use. A product of The Simplex Corp. made in Sandusky, Ohio, was always the mystery. No mention of Philco on it, but was thought to be made in Ohio. Anyways it plays well and sports a four tube TRF design, ballast tube. An odd radio at best. The wood case has been refinished and new grille cloth added to the original as a close as it gets. A price for your collection!
