I absolutely love this set as its a super receiver. This set has a built in aerial, so no antenna to string up unless you want to. This set pulls in lots of stations across the dial on all three bands. This Philco has its original finish and displays very well. I will always try to save an original finish whenever I can, and this one looks very nice. This chassis has had a complete electronic restoration, replacing all paper caps, filter caps, out of spec resistors, etc. These sets are terrific players and lots of fun to play with. The 1940 and 1941 Philco sets are some of the best performing sets I've ever owned, and this one is beautiful. 18-1/2"W x 10-1/2"H x 12"D. |
