THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I am sure you guys have seen one of these beauties before. This is the "Tulip Grille" radio which was made by the Detrola Co. for distribution at Western Auto stores. This radio has its original finish, although I did touch it up and restored its lustrious shine. The grille cloth is an exact reproduction. The chassis was cleaned and polished; no dirty, filthy chassis here!! The chassis was then electronically restored, replacing all capacitors and out of tolerance resistors; the power line cord and dial lamps were replaced. The big 8" Rola Speaker is in perfect condition. This radio plays loud and clear on all three bands, and the giant airplane dial is breathtaking when it lights up. Do not miss out on your chance to own this set, as they don't show up very often and rarely ever in this condition. 20"W x 11"H x 8"D.
