Victor Victrola VI Phonograph (1917)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This Victrola is simply gorgeous and it is still sporting its original finish. Victor Talking Machine Co. made most of these in oak, but did produce a few thousand mahogany examples in the last years of producing the VI. This particular model is a mahogany one. The cabinet was cleaned and polished back to a lustrous glow. All nickel plated bolts, screws, tone arm, crank, etc., were removed and scrubbed and polished. New felt pads under the motor board were replaced as well as new felt on the turn table. The double spring motor has been lubricated including regreasing the springs with a synthetic grease. This Victrola runs quiet and smooth, and plays beautifully. I will include five 78 records as well as needles to get you started. I have never met a radio collector who did not appreciate wind-up phonographs. This will make a fine example in any collection, and very affordable as well. 15"W x 12-1/2"H x 16"D.
