This is an awesome radio! This radio picks up lots of stations all day, all night on seven different bands. This is a neat radio to have, you will have fun with this one for days; however it is no fun to restore one of these. Fortunatley, all the restoration process has been done on this one. The super clean chassis has been electronically restored, replacing all capacitors, including a new filter capacitor can, most resistors have been replaced. That $50 1L6 tube was replaced with a NOS 1L6. he cabinet is in great condition, which is rare for these radios. Trans-Oceanics were some of the best shortwave radios made, and I don't think you can buy one today that could even come close to comparing with these old radios. This one should be trouble free for many more years.
