Truetone D-762 (1937)
(wood tube table radio)

Truetone D-762 (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This Truetone was built by Detrola for Western Auto stores. The styling in this radio is simply breathtaking, with its massive and colorful dial and large cabinet. The seven tube chassis has been restored electronically and plays with great reception and volume on all three bands. Detrola also put those big heavy duty Rola speakers in these radios in the mid thirties. The cabinet has been refinished with the addition of a new grille cloth. This is a great player and has that big impressive look. It's hard to believe that this radio was made during the Depression. 20"W x 11-1/2"H x 8-1/2"D.
