These mantel radios are some of the most beautiful that Zenith made. The Burl Walnut cabinet with fluted sides has been refinished with original toners, stains and four coats of clear lacquer. The grille cloth is an exact reproduction, and all brass parts have been polished and cleaned, leaving a bit of the patina for that classic look. I sprayed a protective coating over the brass to keep it from tarnishing or turning green. This was one of the later models with the lightning bolt Z knobs; they are originals and in excellent condition. The chassis was cleaned, polished, and electronically restored & aligned. Plays loud and clear with great sensitivity. If you are looking for one great classic radio, this is a good candidate. 8-1/2"H x 15-1/2"W x 7"D.
