THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a scarce early eight-transistor set from Emerson, the model 988 "Rambler." This set is a scarce find in the attractive red color. It's a real attention grabber with its large white tuning background and reverse paint face. The radio is original except for the battery tube which has been replaced with a modern holder for the required four "AA" batteries. It plays surprisingly well with clear tone. Clean with no chips or cracks, just some light corrosion to the nameplate.
