| Offered here is this scarce Hitachi model KH-1005 AM/FM portable radio. This is an early FM model with CD markings. It is durable and well made with a strong metal handle. t operates on four "C" sized batteries. This ten-transistor set is all original and the plastic cabinet is in nice undamaged collector condition. This radio is very sensitive picking up all my AM and FM stations. The telescoping antenna helps bring in the FM stations and it is strong and straight. This has a tone control dial and also sports a dial light. Inside this radio is clean and has a large "permanent magnet dynamic loudspeaker with a moving coil" for great sound. 9"W x 6"H x 3"D. |
