Offered here is one of the earliest shirt pocket sized radio from Japan. The Hitachi model 666 radio is a nice reverse plastic six-transistor radio with excellent reception. This red and grey colored combination really pops and is hard to find. There is a small chip on the top left corner of the back, which does not detract from the looks at all. Included is the matching gift box with all of the papers and cleaning cloth, earphone, and carrying case. The radio operates fine on a common 9-volt battery.
