THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
Offered here in original cosmetic condition is this hand wired Zenith Royal 500A from early 1956. This beautiful example has the rare translucent "see through" cabinet and has no chips or cracks and only shows minor signs of wear. The electronics of this radio have been professionally serviced and it is now playing better than ever. It uses four "AA" batteries and has a clean battery box. This is truly a fine piece that you can either add to the top shelf of your collection or you can enjoy it each morning at the breakfast table to keep up with the daily news. It is picking up all my local stations plus many distant ones. The 7XT40Z1 chassis has an early serial #26,243.
