| Offered here is a nice Sony nine-transistor Super Sensitive solid state AM portable radio. For those of you who like to DX, I suggest this radio for you. This small portable is big in performance, running on three "D" sized batteries and sporting a strong leather covered metal handle. At 8-1/2"W x 5"H you can take it anywhere knowing it can produce a big enough sound to even use it outdoors. The gear-reduced Vernier tuning makes selecting even those tough-to-get stations easy. This radio has a tone control switch that makes a minor change in the sound. This radio is in nice cosmetic and playing condition. Inside, the battery contacts and tube are clean. |
