THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Offered here is an early shirt pocket six-transistor radio from Silvertone. It is the Ice Blue color Model 2207 from 1961, made for Sears Roebuck and Company. This is a very distinctive design with its clean front and large black speaker grille. It is quite compact, measuring only 3-/4" tall. This radio is a favorite with collectors due to its petite size, nice colors, and sharp looks.
The example listed here is a real gem and it is possible that it was never used. The insides are just as clean as the outsides. Also included in this listing are the rare accessories pictured: earphone, owners manual, and hang tag all in the original box. When 9 volts of power was applied, the radio produced static but no stations. |
