THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Discovered here is a rare Trans Comet two-transistor shirt pocket radio. This is a beautiful little radio with a handsome white and gold reverse painted face and pale yellow plastic cabinet. The grille consists of several vertical slats covering a mesh speaker cloth. My research on this radio turned up no findings on the Internet. This unique find is in near mint condition with no blemishes. A real gem. The back fits nice and tight and there are no hairlines. When a 9 volt was inserted, the radio played well pulling stations across the band with ample volume. The volume control seems to work as an on/off switch, having little if any effect on changing the volume. The radio is quite compact at just under 4"H x 2-1/2"W. |
