| This radio can best be described as a modern version of the Panasonic "Mr Thin" as it measures only 3/8" thick. It has AM, FM, SW1 and SW2 bands. It has a nice large digital display which shows the time when the radio is not in operation. The digital technology makes for pin-point tuning accuracy. This radio is perfect for taking on walks or any outdoor activity. It's only 4-1/4" tall and despite the thin speaker, puts out good volume. It operates as it should on two "AAA" batteries. The cabinet feels almost rubber, so durability is fantastic. I have used this for over a year now and can confidently offer it to you knowing you will be pleased. Has a telescoping antenna for those hard to reach FM stations and shortwave stations around the world. |
