THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is an excellent example of an early hand wired "Owl" design Royal 500. This beautiful radio has the scarce "see-through" maroon cabinet. One thing that separates this translucent from most of the others is that this also has beautiful translucent knobs. This is Zenith's first transistor radio. The cabinet is in excellent condition with only some light scratches on the back. The 7XT40 series 1 chassis (serial #9,096) is a piece of art that has not been electronically restored but is all original. Regardless, it still plays very nicely. |
