Here is a beautiful example of the scarce "see-through" maroon version of the early hand wired Royal 500. This is Zenith's first transistor radio and a beautiful example. The cabinet is in excellent condition with only some light scratches on the back to report. The 7XT40 series 1 chassis (serial # 13,435) is a piece of art that has been electronically restored and aligned to provide super performance for many years to come. This is a very nice and scarce piece.
