THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Offered here is a very nice Panasonic portable. This radio is well known for its reception capabilities. It features AM, FM, and six Shortwave bands. It is powered by four "D" cell batteries. The radio has no damage as it has been well cared for. The carrying strap makes this very portable and it measures only 14" wide, smaller than a Trans-Oceanic. The analog circuitry allows for long battery life and the reception is superb on both AM & FM. Shortwave will vary with your area. The AM antenna is a gyro ferrite bar that swivels for best reception. Some of the nice operating features of this radio are: crystal calibrator, separate bass/treble tone controls, slow and fast tuning options, BFO to pick up SSB transmissions, narrow/wide filters, dual S-meter/battery meter, and RF gain control. This is one heck of a radio in excellent condition and at a great price. |
