THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
The Royal 760 was the first in a line of Navigator portables Zenith made in the late 50's. It is an AM receiver and also has a special beacon band for navigation purposes. This portable has beautiful leather with the bright chrome grilel reminiscent of the 50's. This is a very durable and stylish radio. It is in nice cosmetic condition with only minor signs of wear to the leather. The leather is clean, all the stitching is complete, the snaps work fine, and the handle is strong. The chrome grille does not show any pitting. This radio plays well with strong volume and good tone along with sensitive tuning across the AM dial. It plays on six "C" cells and they will last for well over a year, even with regular use. |
