Zenith restyled their popular new shirt pocket radio adding stylish metal trim and created an attractive new 2nd generation Royal 50 in 1961. It was offered in black, white, tan, red, and charcoal. The six transistor chassis puts out an impressive 135 milliwatts of sound and operates on two common "AA" batteries. This white example is in near mint condition. It is as nice as you will find and it plays like new. It is clean inside and out. If finding one in this great condition was not rare enough, finding it with its original gift box and all the original accessories is even better. It has the original carrying case, operating guide, unused earphone, and original Zenith battery box. The jeweler's gift box is solid and shows only minor wear with no damage. This all original set will look nice on your top shelf. Compact in size at 4"H x 2-1/2"W; weight 7.7 ounces. |
