The Royal 500H is known for its innovative 3"x5" extended range speaker that produces a rich tone quality. Tuning is easy with the gear reduced vernier tuner. The radio was offered in two-tone grey, black, or white. Its introductory price in 1961 was $59.95 and it operates on four "AA" batteries. This white example is in nice condition with no chips or cracks and nice gold trim. It performs like you would expect this legend to and will become your favorite daily player. When not listening to it, why not show it off in its original gift set with the case, operating guide, earphone and simulated battery box? The jeweler's gift box is solid and clean, showing some wear at the corners. 6"H x 3-1/2"W x 1-3/4"D; weight 18 ounces.
