The Royal 950 is called the "Golden Triangle." This was advertised as the "World's most elegant clock radio" and it lived up to its name. It has three sides and swivels on its tripod stand. The three gold panels display a Swiss movement clock, an AM radio, and a speaker. The radio chassis is from a 500E and sounds better than a 500 thanks to the large 3-1/2" speaker. It is powered by four "AA" batteries. This heavy and fragile radio is very clean and free of damage. The speaker produces real rich sound due to the acoustics of the triangle cabinet. The clock does not work on this any more, but the radio is playing strong and clear. There are no cosmetic detractors on this one and it will be packed well to protect it during its journey to you.
