THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a nice example of the "Royalty of Transistor Radios" from Zenith. The Royal 500 was the top of the line of all the pocket radios made during the era. They have definitely stood the test of time, a tribute to the attention to quality that Zenith was famous for. This radio is a working example with good cosmetics with no chips or cracks, just some normal wear you would expect to find on a 55 year old radio. It plays well on four standard "AA" batteries and will prop up on its metal stand looking and sounding proud as the American workers who made it in Chicago. Every collection needs one of these in it, why not a working example? |
