Nice early portable eight transistor radio in a well preserved brown top grain cowhide cabinet. This radio is in great physical condition and the usual detractors found on these sets are of no worries with this one. The leather handle is strong with no splits, the back flap is not dry and split, the snap tabs are complete and there, and the battery tube is clean. Just a few light marks can be found on the back flap. It is powered by six "C" batteries; the performance is loud, clear, and the slide rule tuning is sensitive. All in all, this 9" wide set delivers a surprising rich full sound worthy of the Zenith label.
