THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is the pinnacle of the Navigator Series that Zenith started in 1957. Engineering updates and electronic advances make this an outstanding performing radio. It is so powerful that the top knob on the left is a DF adjustment to reduce the power to eliminate distortion when necessary. Of course, you can run it wide open to pull in those stations that your other radios can't even think of getting. Other features include three bands (Standard Broadcast, and two shortwave bands), three antennas in the rotating adjustment on top, a signal meter to help zero in on the stations, and a neat lighted dial and tone control. This radio runs on six C size batteries or will accept an AC adaptor (not included). It pumps out 500 milliwatts through a 4" speaker and I rate the performance at 10.0. The black cowhide exterior is well preserved and the handle is strong. I conservatively rate the cosmetics at 8.0. |
