You can browse through the AM & FM stations with ease by turning the antenna. You can easily adjust the volume or change bands with the buttons on the front. The on/off button is on top. This may look like a toy, but it has serious electronics inside and produces a surprisingly big sound. Runs on four AA batteries that are housed underneath in a sealed chamber.
