| Six tubes, BCB amd SW (5.5-18Mhz) The extra tube is in the IF section to boost the amp. Works well on BCB with the built in loop antenna. Shortwave reception requires an external antenna and performs well with my sixty foot outdoor aerial. Original marked knobs. The buttons are mechanical tuning for BCB. Nice original finish retouched and cleaned with an "antique restorer" compound. Looks good, nice dial and cover. Electronically restored with new components, bulbs and tubes where needed. Good sound with a tone control switch. |
