| Six tube superheterodyne. BCB and SW in two bands (1.5-3.5, 6-15 MHz). New filter caps and other components as needed. Plays well on all bands. Good sound from the electrodynamic speaker. Eye-catching dial face reads the lower SW band in meters. I have not refinished this set; there are some scratches and crazing of the original finish. The wood has a natural beauty which aging has enhanced and refinishing would destroy. |
