| Seven tubes plus NOS 6E5 "eye." BCB and SW in two additional bands (1.5-3.5 and 5.6-18.5 MHz). New filter caps, all paper caps replaced, and other components as needed. Works great on all bands. Coarse and fine tuning, multi-position tone control with a large electrodynamic speaker give superb sound. Beautifully refinished with hand-mixed fresh shellac and a coat of wood paste wax final coat to protect finish. This radio is a credit to the craftsmanship of Stromberg-Carlson. At seventy years old it is still "top of the line." |
